Franny Menace is a band. Franny is a menace (sometimes).
Franny Menace is composed of Sydni Dichter (guitar and vocals), Cole Birmingham (guitar and vocals), Maddyline Cerrito (bass), and Adam Finkelstein (drums). Formed in late 2024 in NYC, the band found its origins in a Facebook musicians group, when Cerrito responded to Dichter’s post seeking bandmates. The band’s rooftop festival Frannyfest in October of 2025 saw the band garner increased attention and excitement (as well as the first ever Franny Awards). The addition of Birmingham and Finkelstein in 2026 rounded out the group, introducing new musical elements and influences to the band’s nostalgic, indie pop-rock sound, and elevating the project to new heights.
The name “Franny Menace” comes from lead singer Dichter’s cat Franny, who is sometimes a menace.
